I found out about the latest research on EPA when I went to a lecture by Dr Basant Puri, of the Hammersmith Hospital, London. I went to the lecture for the sole purpose of finding out information that might have helped friends of mine who have depression. I found out a lot more than I had bargained for. Apparently most of one’s brain cells are made of EPA. Dr Puri made it quite clear that his research showed that DHA stopped the absorption of EPA, so one had to have EPA that was guaranteed free of DHA. If you haven’t a clue what I’m talking about, think about fish oil and Omega 3 and you’ll begin to go in the right direction! (Fish oil has EPA, DHA and if the fish swam in the wrong seas, an unhealthy amount of mercury and other nasties due to pollution.) Vegepa pills are completely pure, in vegetarian capsules, and contain no mercury!

I’ve been taking them for a few weeks now. My lifetime addiction to butter has gone so completely that I have no wish to eat any dairy products whatsoever. I have also gained more time in my life without doing any less, whether this is a magical side effect of Vegepa pills, or the result of not eating dairy products, I don’t know. Rock crystal bath lumps

I have had a Dodo Pad, every year for the last 18 years at least. After my first one, I just couldn’t and still can’t imagine life without one. My mother was addicted to them in my childhood, so I was brought up in Dodo Land. In the past I, and my mother before me, had a Dodo Crisis every December. In those days Dodo Pads, like Dodos were very difficult to come across. Most shops didn’t supply them and those that did, kept them hidden in some back closet for their most-likely-to-freak-out customers. I personally freaked out in Harrods one year. I had rung Harrods first and was told that they had numerous Dodo Pads in stock. I then got on a bus and half an hour later arrived in Harrods. However by that time all the Dodo Pads had been sold. I remember freaking out in style. After a 20-minute freak out, an assistant sold me the last Dodo Pad from their secret hideaway.

Due to a change in management, Dodo Pads are now obtainable from shops as well as by mail order. You can also buy Dodo Recipe Organisers, Dodo Travel Log Journals, Dodo mugs, Dodo greetings cards and lots more. Personally I recommend the mugs. If you have a Dodo mug, you will always be able to find it amongst your other mugs, they also make good conversation pieces.
